At King's we aim to provide an enriching curriculum where children are excited to learn and stimulated by the activities on offer. Trips and visitors to school add to this rich learning environment and help to bring the curriculum to life for our pupils.
Trips change from year to year, but they are always closely linked to the curriculum within that year group. Recent trips have included visits to Manchester Airport, the Blue Planet Aquarium, Tatton Hall and Coombs Valley Nature Reserve.
Infant children also enjoy a variety of activity days which are held in school. These days are also closely linked to the curriculum and have included activities such as puppet making workshops, visits from the local Fire Brigade and an interactive day with 'Corner Exotics' where the children were able to handle a range of wonderful animals such as chinchillas, snakes and lizards.
