Each class in King’s Infants has its own vibrant and well-equipped classroom.
New technology, in the form of interactive whiteboards, enhance delivery of the curriculum for several classes. Children also have constant access to IT facilities within the Infant Block.
Our “Outdoor Classroom” – is a Wildlife Study Area called the Gingko Meadow. This has separate habitat areas for hedgerow, woodland, bog and dry and provides a marvellous environmental studies resource for the whole school. The recently refurbished all-weather play area provides stimulus during play times, and our extensive grounds overlooking the hills are used regularly in the summer months.
All the children come together for Assembly in their own Infant Hall four times a week. The Hall is also used each day for the After-School Club.
The infants’ education is enhanced still further by sharing the site’s superb facilities:
300 seat Assembly Hall – used for concerts, plays etc.
IT suite
Library
Large gymnasium (with fully sprung flooring)
Indoor Sports Hall
Dining Hall
